Making cartoon word balloons in Medibang Paint with the circle guide tool

There is a circular guide tool in the Medibang Paint comic drawing app. And I use this to draw my word balloons.

Selecting the circle guide

So with the drawing tool selected, I can go to the top menu and choose this circle guide button here.

After the circle guide appears on the screen I can move it and size it the way I want.

Then I can draw an outline on the circle guide and now that I have an oval that's above my character's head I select the erase tool and remove a section of it to draw the balloon tail. And now I've drawn a little word bubble.

Now I just need to color it in so I go to the color layer, pick the bucket fill tool, select white for the color, and fill in the word balloon.

Now I can add text to that.

Creating a cover for my webcomic books

Creating my webcomic book cover for print on Amazon KDP I have all the pages set up for the book and ready to go and then at the end it's like "oh right I still need to create the cover for the book!" I don't know why but this part always makes me the most anxious. Maybe it's because it's the way the book is going to be represented? It's so weird, in my books I'm telling very personal things in my webcomics themselves but the cover is the thing that is making me anxious. I mean this is gonna be what I show when I say to people, hey I created this book you should check it out! Maybe I'm being silly I don't know?
