Are you intrigued by the idea of cute bunnies with a dark twist? Then you're in for a treat with our latest art podcast episode featuring Madison-based illustrator Sara Christenson from Bunny Attack Illustration. Sara's unique pen and ink drawings of rabbits are not your ordinary fluffy creatures; they're a blend of adorable and eerie, reflecting life's complexities in the most unexpected ways.

Sara's journey into the world of art began with a simple illustration of an owl, inspired by the natural patterns of a piece of wood. This moment of inspiration led her down a path of exploration with Prismacolor pens, eventually focusing on their true passion—rabbits. But these aren't just any rabbits. They embody a spectrum of emotions, from the fierceness of her own pet rabbit, Evie, to the humor and depth that Sarah brings to her work.

You'll learn about Sara's creative process, from the initial spark of an idea to the meticulous stippling technique that brings their illustrations to life.

Missing label.

When I took the label back to the post office he told me I need to bring my own tape to put it on the package next time. I'm hoping there won't be a next time.

Paint run.

A few years ago scheduling MRI's would consume our whole day . Now we were happy that we could just do something to help other people in some way. Even if it was just driving to get the paint they needed. And we did make it back in time for for Merijoy's appointment.
