Thinking out loud about being my own creative enemy - Tom Ray's Art Podcast

I try to talk myself out of a creative rut. One of the things that motivated me? A podcast interview I did recently.

I've felt very hesitant to try new things artistically this past month.

I turn on the mic to try to give myself a little pep talk and look at some of the things I'm doing and some of the things I realize I should be doing. I wanted a way to get out of the rut in my head.

It's been bumming me out.

I was listening to this episode of the podcast I did with Tiffany Babb and realized I needed to try more things.

I feel better after talking about it on this episode of the podcast so I thought I would share 😊

December snow.

It's snowed a few times this year I don't know why this time felt different.

Still dealing with items.

I had to create a claim on the USPS website for the package in New York. And I had hoped I could ship my laptop from home but the return instructions said it had to be sent from the UPS facility.

Missing label.

When I took the label back to the post office he told me I need to bring my own tape to put it on the package next time. I'm hoping there won't be a next time.

Paint run.

A few years ago scheduling MRI's would consume our whole day . Now we were happy that we could just do something to help other people in some way. Even if it was just driving to get the paint they needed. And we did make it back in time for for Merijoy's appointment.
