Vintage Illustration Artwork from Calling All Girls Digest from 1962

Here is some illustration artwork from a vintage magazine digest I found from 1962 called "Calling all girls". This was a magazine that was for teens that later became Young Miss magazine. It has a lot of really cool two-color illustrations for each of the articles in the digest.

If you would like to see more of the books that I've collected from resale shops over the years I also sell them in my eBay store.

Each issue also had a minicomic called Tizzie by Kate Osann. Tizzy, the title character, was a stereotypical teen-aged American girl. The episode drawn in this comic was Tizzie and her first job as a babysitter. And much like the rest of the book it used a two-color theme.

I actually like to try and recreate old ads like this and repurpose the artwork by illustrating them for band flyers.
