S03 Episode 3: James Kreul, Filmmaker

Episode image card

James Kreul has been very involved with films in Madison, he runs programs like The Rooftop Cinema at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and the upcoming Mills Folly Microcinema at the Arts + Literature Laboratory to name a few. The first time I went to one of his underground film screenings was last year at Coney Island Studio and I knew I wanted to meet with him to be on the show. I finally got a chance to talk to him on the north side of Madison at Warner Park.

December snow.

It's snowed a few times this year I don't know why this time felt different.

Still dealing with items.

I had to create a claim on the USPS website for the package in New York. And I had hoped I could ship my laptop from home but the return instructions said it had to be sent from the UPS facility.

Missing label.

When I took the label back to the post office he told me I need to bring my own tape to put it on the package next time. I'm hoping there won't be a next time.

Paint run.

A few years ago scheduling MRI's would consume our whole day . Now we were happy that we could just do something to help other people in some way. Even if it was just driving to get the paint they needed. And we did make it back in time for for Merijoy's appointment.
