S02 Episode 3: How long did you give yourself to succeed?

The question I ask this week:
"How long did you give yourself to succeed?"

How long would it take for someone to figure out if the risk they took to pursue their passion full-time was successful? I wanted to know if there is a timeline or some kind of method to say that venturing out on your own was worth it or should there be an exit strategy just in case.

If you create things in your spare time, you've probably thought about trying to do it for a living or maybe you're just trying to get the guts to put it out there for the first time.

So what would it take to follow through and actually do it?

To help understand what it's like, listen to what these local creatives say about what they do.

Here's a list of the places I talk to in each episode.
Each week I ask one question and find out where the conversation takes us, to learn more about how these people decided to take their process one step further.

December snow.

It's snowed a few times this year I don't know why this time felt different.

Still dealing with items.

I had to create a claim on the USPS website for the package in New York. And I had hoped I could ship my laptop from home but the return instructions said it had to be sent from the UPS facility.

Paint run.

A few years ago scheduling MRI's would consume our whole day . Now we were happy that we could just do something to help other people in some way. Even if it was just driving to get the paint they needed. And we did make it back in time for for Merijoy's appointment.

Great grandma's birthday cards.

Then it occurred to me that my birthday was tomorrow. What an odd coincidence?
